Myofunctional Impairment Screening

I feel like there are six big areas that should be considered when doing a myofunctional impairment screening.  Whether you are a provider, looking for the most important things to evaluate or whether you’re a human being wondering about yourself.  This week, I am delving into those areas that should be looked at.

The 6 things that I discuss as part of a myofunctional impairment screening are:

  • Airway awareness
  • Tongue-tie
  • Sleep
  • Mouth breathing
  • Tongue and mouth posture
  • Digestion

In this Facebook Live, I break these areas down for you!

Enjoy!
